COMPOSITION

Each ml contains :
Colistin sulphate 2400000 IU.
Excipients ad 1 ml

INDICATIONS
FARMACOL Oral is indicated for gastrointestinal infections caused by colistin sensitive microorganisms like E. coli, Haemophilus and Salmonella spp. in calves, goats, sheep, and poultry .Colistin is an antibiotic from the group of polymyxins with bactericidal action against Gramnegative bacteria like E. coli, Haemophilus and Salmonella spp. Polymyxins interact strongly with phospholipids and penetrate into and disrupt the structure of cell membranes.

DOSAGE CALVES, GOATS AND SHEEP
Twice daily 1 ml per 40 kg body weight for 5 – 7 days.

POULTRY
500ml litre per 1000 litres of drinking water for 3-5 days. For oral administration or as advised by a veterinarian.

Withdrawal times
– For meat: 7 days.

MEDICINAL DRINKING WATER SHOULD BE REPLACED EVERY 24 HOURS. KEEP OUT OF THE REACH AND SIGHT OF CHILDREN. STRICTLY FOR VETERINARY USE ONLY. STORE THE PRODUCT IN THE CLOSED, ORIGINAL PACKAGING PROTECTED FROM DIRECT LIGHT, AND KEEP ITS LABEL FOR CORRECT IDENTIFICATION.
